Hi, I'm Jess

I’m a registered Christian counsellor (ACA Level 2) and the sole practitioner behind Fruitful Purpose Counselling. My work is grounded in compassion, safety, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I believe healing happens in relationship — through presence, understanding, and gentle support.

Approach

Faith‑informed (optional)

For clients who desire it, sessions may include prayer, scripture reflection, or faith‑aligned grounding practices.

Trauma‑Informed

Your sessions are grounded in safety, compassion and autonomy. You choose what you want to explore, and we move gently, with care for your nervous system and emotional capacity.

Strengths‑based

We focus on what’s working, not just what’s hard. You bring your strengths, insights and resilience; I bring a calm, grounded presence and evidence‑informed therapeutic tools.

Person‑centred

You are the expert in your own life.

A Galatians 5:22 Approach

My counselling approach is shaped by the Christian understanding that growth is nurtured through qualities such as
love,
peace,
patience,
kindness,

goodness,
faithfulness,
gentleness
and self‑control.
These values guide the way I hold space for each person — with compassion, respect and a calm, steady presence.
